If you are looking for a bite to eat on your way up north or planning a rest stop...make sure to choose a place like this over a chain in Barrie or Orillia. The food is far better than a chain burger place and the service is so much better. You actually get to talk to someone face to face and have some small talk instead of talking to a box or punching your order in on your device or at a kiosk. I will always try to support local when I can, and this is a great place to do that. I had a Bacon Cheeseburger and side of Onion Rings and both were made to order and tasted good. Will be back if I am running through the area and need a quick meal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20

Great place with a classic burger joint feel. Lots of selections on the menu! I had the grilled chicken burger and my husband had the veal sandwich. They were both delicious pretty awesome cheese pull Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

5/5 Burger Pit is easily one of the best roadside burger stops along Highway 11 north of Barrie. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and provided excellent service. The food was fresh, hot, and made to order, with generous portions that exceeded expectations. The burgers and wraps were juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the toppings tasted fresh and complemented every bite. The fries were crispy and delicious, making the meal even better. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and had a comfortable atmosphere that made it a great place to relax during a road trip. What really stands out is the combination of quality food, reasonable prices, and outstanding customer service. Whether you’re heading to cottage country or just passing through, Burger Pit is definitely worth the stop.
