I had a terrible experience with Barnett Barbecue in East Orange today. I picked up my lunch order only to find that my food was not prepared properly. The food was cold, and the fries were soggy, completely ruining what should have been a nice meal. To make matters worse, when I called to complain about my order and spoke with Jessica, the customer service was hideous. She was rude and dismissive, showing no interest in addressing my concerns. I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the food and the lack of respect from the staff. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal and good service. Further more they don’t know to puncture holes in the foil so the the fries won’t be soggy. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50

My order was wrong and charged me for the platter I didn't receive. I ordered the combo half chicken and half pork ribs with rice and vegetables. Also, I ordered the Portuguese sausage and a 3 feces cake with 3 bbq sauces. When I got home there was only chicken and rice not the half ribs. How do you forget to add the other half of the combo. And I gave a tip. I will not go there again. Food: 1

A few weeks ago, I ate at Burnet BBQ #4 because I tasted some of their food weeks earlier at a family gathering. Well, the kindness of the staff, atmosphere and taste of the food did not disappoint. I definitely plan to return in the future when I’m in the area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Shrimp in Garlic Sauce
