Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Unfortunately our meat fridge went down with the current heat wave we’re having. Because of this we had to throw the entire contents leaving us with no way of making our own. Instead of us leaving our wholesale customers without any, we had to source them in temporarily until our fridge technician came. Thankfully he was able to come this morning and has now fixed the problem. As it’s now fixed all pies will be back to their normal size and quality ready for deliveries tomorrow. Unfortunately we have no control over the prices charged by our customers to their consumers (yourself) that is completely out of our hands. However, thank you very much for leaving a public review instead of questioning it directly with ourselves. Much appreciated

Hi, thank you for leaving us a review as without us being contacted directly in some way, be it via our social media platforms or by giving us a call, we wouldn’t ever know about things such as this. We’re really sorry you’ve encountered this with one of our sandwiches. We do as much as we possibly can to prevent flys and other pests however, unfortunately on this occasion this one must have slipped through our checks, so I am very sorry for this, and the upset this must have caused. We will definitely report this back to our production team and look into it. I hope you can understand that this isn’t the standards we produce products to, and that it’s been an individual instance. We hope that in the future you’d reconsider our products and that you don’t let it put you off further products in service stations. Many thanks and sorry again. Butterfield’s.
