The lady and I went to this restaurant because we were passing through to go to La Seu and we loved the experience. The place is cozy and quiet, with rustic decor and attentive service. The food is homemade and delicious, strong starters: trinxat or homemade cannelloni among the options. The best thing was the family atmosphere that was felt, both among the diners and the staff. We felt at home and enjoyed a very pleasant meal. Classic site without a doubt. I think it is one of the most authentic places I have been to. It is eaten well, correct, traditional and without nonsense. What there is is good even though the place is very old, but what does that matter if what we have come for is to eat? Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance to the place is from the road, there is no sidewalk for about 10 meters, once inside the place is all flat except the access to the bathroom, which has a step to climb. It remains one of my favorite places no matter how many years go by. My daughter will be 21 now and we have been going since she was barely a year old and it is her favorite place. Is it outdated? What needs reform? That is its charm, it is a family home and those who run it have grown old with it. That qualiu de poble is what makes it special. And I hope it continues that way until Carme and Joan retire. I don't think that Ca la Bornia will continue after because they are its essence. A hug to both of you and per molts anys!!
