We were staying at the AC hotel and tried to get some food right as the hotel restaurant was closing - ran across to Cava hoping for late night food rescue and received the friendliest, most courteous, most attentive assistance for my patience—challenging order (fam includes vegan, gluten free, and dedicated carnivore :) - Thank you, Brandon and Charles. Cava bowls be bomb, especially if you know what goes well together. Things that go very well together: - Grilled chicken and Saffron basmati rice - Pickled onions and any protein - Red pepper hummus and pita bread and pita crisps - Red pepper hummus with rice - Harissa and veggies, rice - Tzatziki and protein, especially grilled chicken Things that aren't so tasty: - Lentils - Certain greens are less tasty than others (like super greens are less tasty than lettuce varieties) - Tomato and cucumber salad (unless you focus everything else to be cooling, like Tzatziki is your main focus) - Brown rice A friend recommended this "recipe": SuperGreens, Saffron Basmati Rice, Tzatziki, Harissa, Red Pepper Hummus, Grilled Chicken, Pickled Onions, Fire Roasted Corn, Cabbage Slaw, Tomato + Cucumber, Shredded Romaine, Crumbled Feta, Pita Crisps, Yogurt Dill, Hot Harissa Vinaigrette, Free Side Pita Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Grilled Chicken Bowl Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Vegetarian options: Vegans might have more trouble, but vegetarians can make amazing bowls with plenty of options for everything but the protein.

We’ve ordered delivery from Cava three times now. The first time we were missing an entire bowl and multiple pitas, the second time we were missing multiple pitas and a bunch of toppings from the bowls (including all the falafel), and the third time we were again missing an entire bowl. We received a partial refund for the first incident, and a store credit for the second incident. For the third incident they’re insisting they can only give us store credit “due to the processes and policies that we must adhere to when handling these types of incidents.” We’ve been contacting them via their customer service email. First of all, refusing a refund for a good that wasn’t provided is equivalent to theft in my opinion. Second of all, we’re not going to order again from a place that screws up three orders in a row, so a credit is useless. I will say that the only reason we tried again after the first two faulty orders (and the reason for 2 stars rather than 1) is that the food is quite good.
