This was my very first time at this establishment, I had heard about it from a friend, so I had to see what it was all about. I loved how open the layout was, it has such great views as well. My bartender immediately noticed my Flyers jersey and we started talking hockey, I then found out this is a well known hockey bar. I ordered street tacos and a few drinks. Fantastic food and service, very friendly staff, toward the end of the night I realized my server turned out to actually be the bar manager. Great dude and conversation. I also had the opportunity to meet Colton and Briauna as well. Cheers to the owners and your fantastic new business! I will be back and I hope you have a fanatic golf season! We hosted an event for 150 downstairs. Choosing CJ's was well worth it. The preparations were thoughtful. Scheduling was a phone call, an on-site quick tour and we were booked. Timely resposes and clear communication from the manager. The room was very clean & linens were in great shape. Parking was plentiful. The food was timed right, handled well, estimated correctly & perfect for our needs. The atmosphere was better than I remember from attending previous events at this venue years ago. The team really seemed to have put some thought into everything. The elevator came in handy for a few people also. We'd definetely book again. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our second year hosting a DU banquet at CJ’s Tavern, and once again it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The banquet room is ideal for our Sportsman-style events—very spacious, well laid out, and perfect for large groups, and raffles without ever feeling cramped. It really allows the event to flow smoothly and keeps everyone comfortable. Working with Joel was a huge part of why everything went so well. From the initial planning stages all the way through the night of the event, he was professional, responsive, and genuinely easy to work with. He made sure every detail was covered and was always available to answer questions or make adjustments, which took a lot of stress off our plate. The food was great—hot, well-prepared, and exactly what you want for a banquet setting. (We did the taco bar) Our guests had nothing but positive things to say. Overall, CJ’s Tavern delivers a top-tier banquet experience with a great setup, great food, and great people. We’ll absolutely continue using this space and highly recommend it to anyone looking to host a Sportsman banquet or large event. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
