The food is great the atmosphere OK the area OK but their customer service horrible and the weight just to get a beef patty. It’s incredible. It almost makes it feel like if they sent for the beef patty back in Jamaica lol but very true. I am very Syncere their food is great, but you have to deal with the waiting. You must have lots of patience on coming to this restaurant, but I recommend it if you love Jamaican food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Cool Shade follows through on quick and consistent Jamaican food delivery. I normally have fears about ordering takeout from Jamaican restaurants. No beef, it’s just that at some of these locations they try to scam you out of an oxtail, or deliver a crappy plate because you’re not looking at them face to face. Cool Shade has changed my perspective! The delivery was seamless and timely, and the food, excellent. No mistakes. Now I only gave a 4/5 because I think they could add more oxtails to a $24 plate (y’all are giving three oxtail, and I think you could spare 5 full ones for the price) Outside of the cost, the flavor was very authentic and delicious. I got both the oxtail plate and the jerk chicken, and both were well seasoned, tender, and consistent the two times I’ve ordered so far. Only meal option I might add is a dessert for the big backs out there. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5
