For $25 at lunch, honestly, it was a great value! They had a made to order pasta bar, wine and beer, sandwiches, salad bar, soup, hot entree, and dessert bar. Yes, the options were limited but overall everything was good. The place was pretty empty, and there was no one at the front desk so we had to walk in and find someone to seat us. Also, the sign says 18% auto gratuity added for parties of 6 or more, but we were a party of 2 and they added it anyway. Overall, for the price, it was worth it. Price per person: $20–30

I showed up 30 minutes before close and they were unable to make me oatmeal. Very expensive buffet and not very nice especially for the price. I would expect better from a grand Hyatt Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

The CABINET, located one floor below the lobby of The Grand Hilton Washington, is reached by escalator or elevator. There are two seating areas: near the buffet, or a nearby quieter area. Everything is ADA compatible. You may order from the menu or graze from the well presented buffet. I ordered Avocado Toast from the menu. Built on a formidable base of whole wheat toast, a thick layer of mashed avocado is laid, then generously covered with a mountain of salad sprouts. It is a good vegan breakfast. The coffee is dark, rich, and freely refilled by the attentive waiter. The elegant bathrooms are located down a hallway, behind the restaurant. Ask your waiter for directions.
