We had such a great experience here, the food was delicious, atmosphere was great and staff was so friendly! My husband tries the chicken fried steak breakfast wherever we go and this is the best one he has ever had ANYWHERE! This will definitely be a regular spot, we cant wait to try all the other delicious looking menu items! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20

Stopped off at the Cactus Cafe on a road trip, and I was pleasantly surprised. The dining area is spacious, cool in the New Mexico heat, and beautifully furnished. We were here for breakfast, which they serve all day. They also serve lunch and dinner. The food was excellent! Huevos rancheros, the indulgent Golf burrito smothered in queso. They offer homemade green chili and jalapeno salsa. They also offer waffles, pancakes and traditional American breakfast classics. The service was excellent. My coffee never got cold. Located conveniently right off the highway, don't be deterred by the exterior. It just adds to the character and charm. Check it out! Had not been since I was 18yrs old. Food was 5 star, BBQ was out of this world, mix and match must have. Wife's tacos she said were on the top 100 scale, dad's burger was omg he said , nephews BBQ brisket he said was a plus, salsa needs to be bottled and sold, just the right kick was outstanding. If we make it back, only place to eat. Breakfast burritos omg good. DAVE and crew have it going on, recommend 6 star food. Service outstanding,, Dave and cooks vist with customers, treated like being at home like family.
