Café Addict is simply a fantastic specialty coffee place. Exceptional coffee, serious knowledge, high-quality beans and brewing, and a wonderfully rustic and relaxed atmosphere that immediately makes you want to stay longer than planned. This is clearly a place built by people who genuinely care about coffee and about creating a meaningful experience for their guests. Connected to the nearby roastery just a few meters away, the whole project feels like a true labour of love. The owner is obviously ambitious and deeply dedicated, creating something that goes far beyond simply serving coffee. I also have to mention the two wonderful women working there when I visited. They knew an impressive amount about coffee, guided customers with warmth and confidence, and helped create an atmosphere that felt both professional and genuinely human. When you travel often and spend a lot of time moving from place to place alone, places like this begin to mean much more than just “good coffee”. Travel can quickly create a strange feeling of homelessness, even in beautiful cities. For me, finding the right café — a place with warmth, personality and people who genuinely care about what they do — can completely change the quality of a trip. Café Addict became exactly such a place in Rouen. One of those rare cafés that actually make you feel a little at home while travelling. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
