Visited today after a break of perhaps 8 years. The cafe was spotless, service was quick , friendly and efficient. The food we ordered was very good value for money, and tasty. The drinks were piping hot. Cakes are excellent . The food was honest and simple. Compares well with other cafes in the area. Very dog friendly cafe, made me feel guilty I had not bought my own. Will certainly visit again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went with my elderly Father for breakfast. We go out for breakfast somewhere every Friday morning, and have done so for the last three or four years. I can only judge this place on what it was like on the day, it was our first visit here. It’ll be our last. Quite frankly, one of the worst breakfasts we’ve ever had. He had scrambled eggs on toast, I had the full English. The eggs were very, very pale and remarkably bland. Very reminiscent of powdered eggs. I don’t claim that’s what they were, but they were awful. The full English came with the same eggs. It is also the first breakfast I’ve ever been served with one and a half sausages. Cheap multipack sausages, seemingly, chopped in half lengthwise and then fried. But why three halves? I’ve seen this done before at roadside lay-by huts, but never in a so called restaurant. I’m not a big coffee fan, but like a latte now and then, and that is what we both had here. The darkest coloured latte ever. Really strong, and bitter. Unpleasant all round. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We are always happy to help and assist when approached, and try to encourage our customers to give feedback when they are still in the café so we can rectify issues if they have occurred there and then. Good coffee, great cakes and friendly staff. Good prices. Ceiling a little low and "echoey" when busy....which it frequently is as it's v popular. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
