We ate pleasantly surprised when we visited this cafe. I didn’t expect it to be a fast food type of restaurant but it was nice. The food tasted good and the ambience was My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the serving area where they build the orders. It wasn’t horrific, but it could use some improvements. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I used to love ordering the nachos from this place, but about a week ago my husband’s aunt told me she went there for a quesadilla. Normally, a quesadilla comes with guacamole and pico de gallo included in the meal at pretty much every restaurant. For some reason, this place decided to start selling them as separate sides. In my opinion, that’s ridiculous. The only place I’d expect to eat a plain quesadilla is Taco Bell. If I’m paying a good amount of money for a quesadilla, I expect it to come complete with its sides, not have to pay extra for them. Anyway, I went today to pick up some nachos and wow I guess they’ll start selling the meat separately too, because it’s ridiculous that a plate of nachos costing almost $20 came with only four tiny pieces of meat. I was also surprised to see that the guacamole is indeed charged separately now. A tiny side of guacamole that doesn’t even contain half an avocado—when a whole avocado costs less than $1—is sold for almost $3. The amount of pico de gallo was pathetic, and honestly, with all due respect, they’re becoming incredibly stingy. It almost feels like they’re giving the food away instead of selling it. I don’t mind paying more for food, but I expect the order to come the way it should. I’m not going to pay almost $20 for a plate of chips with four thin pieces of meat, a tiny spoonful of pico de gallo, and then have to pay an extra $3 for guacamole on top of that. My son and I order take outs many times there. The reason we like their food so much is because it has everything your body needs without all the fried and greasy stuff that just makes you fat and sick through out the years. What we order is the "Build your own bowl". It has the grains, meat, vegetables, everything your body needs. A well balanced diet. To make my trip even better, I had the pleasure to meet this great group of young crowd, that, is hard working and caring. They work a lot but they always have a smile in their face and pleasant attitude. Their names are: Marcos, he is the first one to serve us, I love him, he is young, sweet, generous and caring while preparing your food, I never see him in a bad mood. The other people that I love are: dear Joselyn, she is beautiful, inside and out, she has a beautiful face, she should work on TV programs, also very kind and hard working. And, finally, my dear Karla, she is the check out young lady, cute, sweet, responsible, also, always with honest smile on her face. I love you guys and thank you for being so good to us.
