We went there for the 48 hour art neukoln and a bartender walked past us and pushed us violently apart although there was enough space to go through on the side. We tried to tell the staff but they just tried to get rid of us. We got really angry. People who were not in the scene tried to convince us that nothing happened, they protected the employee and took no interest in hearing what he did. Two gay foreigners that just came in and where appreciating how beautiful the place was. There was so much space to go around normally and the guy was smiling, taking advantage of going back to the bar and getting the other employees to tell us that we were imagining what happened. Such a terrible behavior from all people working there! When we asked what about the behavior we were gaslighted and when we asked what they could do about it, they just tried to protect the employee. Absolutely disgusting behavior overall. Avoid this place as a queer person! Service: 1

Our team always strives to treat all guests with respect and to provide a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of background or identity. In this case, our staff were trying to keep a busy access route clear and to maintain safety behind the bar. We regret that the situation escalated despite our efforts to resolve it on site and despite our apology. I have to say I liked the old Café Rix way better. It’s Not as cozy because the lights are soo bright, the uniqueness is gone. The menu is too bland. We were hoping for a cozy hot chocolate on a rainy day. It wasn’t on the menu, they made it regardless. It was nice but it tasted like pure milk with a tiny bit of cacao. They only had two types of teas. All in all unfortunately not as it was, and def not better. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
