Oh, Cafe Rosen, where do I even begin? My recent visit was an absolute masterpiece of disappointment. I went in with a friend for a couple of vanilla lattes and a basil and cream panini. What a mistake that was! First off, the drinks. Those two vanilla lattes were a revelation... in how utterly disgusting coffee can be. It's as if someone mistook salt for sugar, and the vanilla flavor was more like an afterthought, if even that. The panini? A culinary disaster. The basil and cream combination was a horrifying blend that left a lingering taste of regret. I've had more appetizing cardboard. But wait, there's more! Despite telling them we were dining in, they handed us our coffee in takeout cups. We mentioned this to the server, expecting maybe a quick fix or even an apology. Instead, we were treated to an astonishing display of indifference. The server simply said "no," while swinging their head like we were the ones who didn't understand basic English. No explanation, no attempt to rectify the mistake—just a flat, dismissive "no." So, congratulations, Cafe Rosen! You've managed to turn a simple coffee outing into a $25 lesson in frustration. I left the untouched food there, a donation to your staff. Maybe they'll have better luck stomaching it than we did. If you’re looking for a place to test your patience and palate, this is it.
