Horrible Service and Complete Lack of Accountability We had one of the worst dining experiences at Cafetalista. We ordered a carbonara, a simple dish, and waited patiently for nearly an hour while repeatedly following up with the staff. Each time, they assured us that the dish was being prepared in the kitchen. After more than an hour of waiting, they suddenly informed us that the dish was out of stock! This was beyond frustrating, as the food was for a hungry child who was already irritable and starving by then. The delay was bad enough, but what made the situation even worse was the complete lack of care or accountability from the staff. Not once did they apologize sincerely or offer an alternative solution. They showed no effort to make up for their mistake, leaving us disappointed and upset. To top it off, the restaurant didn’t seem busy enough to justify such chaos. This experience showed us that Cafetalista does not value its customers or their time. If you’re looking for a reliable place with decent customer service, skip this restaurant. Save yourself the frustration. ---- Dear Owner, Before responding, I kindly ask that you investigate the matter, as your claims are incorrect. The food you mentioned was not served, and I suggest you refer to your receipt for verification. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of the necessary systems in place at your restaurant, which should be addressed. Dearest Ma’am, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment caused during your visit. We deeply regret that your daughter’s order was not served promptly and that you had to wait, which understandably affected your experience with us. As shown in the photos taken during your visit, the garden and front area of the restaurant were unusually full, likely due to the cold weather. Unfortunately, we were also understaffed that day, particularly in the kitchen, as some of our crew members were unwell. However, we fully acknowledge that this is not an excuse for our shortcomings. We truly value and care for all our customers, and we are deeply saddened that we fell short of your expectations. While our staff apologized to your husband, we understand that it may not have been enough to resolve the situation. Please allow us the opportunity to make it up to you. We hope to welcome you back and provide the excellent service you deserve. Once again, on behalf of the Cafetalista team, we are truly sorry, and we thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

we came in today to eat, there were 4 staff in the store. One on the counter. We found seats ourselves when we entered the store. No customer is dining. We were the only customers. We waited for 2 minutes to be given the menu or at least asked for our orders, no one approached our table. I asked the lady on the counter, “san po oorder?” she looked but didn’t respond. We waited for another minute. No one wants to do their job, we just decided to leave and transfer to Yang Chow restaurant instead and we were greeted and was served cold water right away. Lose your lazy staff if you want your business to stay. Terrible experience.
