Worst fry fish I’ve ever seen Fish eye was missing, it was dry and full of black pepper on the outside. For 10 pounds it’s was rock hard and rotten Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40

Always happy with the food, but never again will l step inside their restaurant. l've been a regular at Calabash for years eating in or grabbing a take away depending on my work schedule. However, yesterday l arrived for a takeaway and could not find a parking space. l telephoned my order, so that l could dash in, pay and collect leaving my car on a yellow line for a couple of minutes... l've done this many times before. On this occasion, the male that answered was not having this. l mention male, because lve never had an issue with any of the female servers that take calls. He asked me to come in and pay, refusing to put together my order unless l did this.. l explained again that l'm already in the car park but unable to find a space.... After a brief argument that was going nowhere or valuing my custom l got my lunch from Taste of the Caribbean in Green Lanes and will continue to do so.. Bye Bye Calabash
