We decided to try the Ala Moana CPK at 1pm on a Sunday and the wait time was about 30min which was not bad considering how busy it was inside. We were quickly seated an the waiter took our order. We decided to try their two limited time pizzas - the green chili enchilada pizza and the tostada pizza with the carne asada upgrade. As were eating and shared the two pizzas, we wondered why they would release two pizzas that were so similar to each other. They were ok - not great and decided to take a little over half of it home since it was just ok and it felt like we were eating two of the same pizzas. Halfway though our meal, I asked for a refill of my lemonade which our server said he'd get right away but never came back with and he never came by out table again. We were done eating and waited another 30 minutes before he reappeared on the restaurant floor so I could waive him down to get our check. Another 15 minutes later he showed up with our check. I mean, it was busy but to have to wait 45 minutes after you're done so you can pay and leave is crazy. My wife texted me today to tell me one reason why her tostada pizza was so similar to mine was because there wasn't a single piece of lettuce on hers. She only realized it today as she was eating her leftover pizza and looked at the picture and description on the CPK site. "Crispy lettuce" is the first ingredient listed.

Can’t go wrong with Chicken Piccata and The Works pizza! Good for 2. Just expect a lil slow serving time but food is good and friendly servers. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

High expectations! Ive had the pizza and I loved it when I experienced California pizza kitchen for the first time a few months ago. I carried the expectations when I ordered the chicken and shrimp pasta dish. The strawberry sangria rose was delicious and my taste buds were watering. When the piping hot plate came I dove into the dish. Nada, it was disappointing and bland. I don’t know if it was the sauce but it was very bland. Would I recommend this dish? Absolutely not. Order the pizza, that’s what it said in the title. I would still recommend this place but only for the pizza. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
