Ordered 2 x legs of chicken plus the sweet potato and chips via the self-service. After waiting about 10 minutes I got called over and I was told no more legs and would I be ok with 2 x Breasts. The same two lonely breasts that were sitting in the warmer when I placed my order. I repeated my answer twice, No. I ordered a leg I returned to wait and and they gave me two breasts anyway. A chicken shop that runs out of chicken or a victim of technology. Not sure. During my wait I also observed the hot food sitting outside of the almost empty warmer for unsuspecting Uber Eats customers to receive cold produce. I was an earlier victim myself and blamed Uber Eats. There are multiple issues here but I suspect the owners thought that a self-service system would make things easier so that people could focus on preparing the food, heat the chips But of course it it's just an ordering system with no connection to anything. If you get an order with two legs of chicken on the system you think they would ask if you want to wait for two legs of chicken upfront, rather then wait till the end. Of course I checked on Uber Eats and no issue with ordering a chicken leg. Wonder what they would get. After a cold Uber eats experience followed by this take out experience I can't recommend this place until they get rid or fix the machines. You begin a takeaway order on an electronic order board and then are served by NESB wait staff. So service and atmosphere are a miss. The price is on the dearer side. And wings options seemed to be restricted to the packs (6, 10, etc. No single wing options). Those are the cons. But at the end of the day, restaurants are about food - and with a wing pack (wings and chips) did not disappoint!! The smokey BBQ wings were delicious: everything you want, really. Good wing size. Crunchy texture. Sauce on point. And the chips: generous portion, and high quality. All in all, there was nothing negative to say about the food other than its price. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Smoky BBQ Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid street parking
