Fantastic little cafe on the river, had a scotch egg and wife had pork pie. Both were really good. Coffee and cake were both good too. Very friendly owners who were happy to chat. Lots of local beers and spirits for sale, along with local honey and artisan bread. Would visit again if we were in the area, as we're just passing through on a cruiser. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hullo again - fabulous Mothers Day brunch 1x Eggs Benedict and 2 x small breakfasts - perfection. We also picked up a cherry pie for later - just had that and it was fantastic. It’s a great place - no nonsense, no flannel just great food , service and a cheeky humour ( which I find refreshing) Cannells Five Star Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Full English Breakfast, Scotch Egg, Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs, Eggs Royale

My wife and I were moored up at Reedham and decided to pop into cannells by the river. I ordered a beef and onion pie and mash. My wife ordered the giant Yorkshire pudding with chicken. My minced beef and onion pie turned out to be a steak pie which I wasn't disappointed by but was surprised and my wife enjoyed her giant Yorkshire pudding with chicken but, we were however very disappointed with the attitude from the man who took our order and seemed to be in charge. Our food was served by a young lady who was very pleasant but his attitude was rather robotic and lacking character to top this off the next day whilst we were getting ready to leave reedham and he was getting ready to open. He was telling the broads authority Ranger how he wasn't, Looking forward to today and looking after his entitled customers. Perhaps he should have said that a little quieter. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
