And you know what, they were REALLY GOOD the second time - like I remember them. Lots of toppings, lots of flavour, nice crispy base that wasn’t too thick.
We’re allowed to have an off day but it’s “the putting right that counts”.
By making the effort to address a bad customer experience and “put it right” Capriata is back on the map in my eyes.
The “Capriata Special” and “Imperio” are definitely a highlight - try them !
In addition to the calamari & salad, we ordered 4 pizzas: a Pepperoni, a Hawaiian, the “Capriata Special” and the Imperio.
I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my life and it’s fair to say these were, by a large margin, the worst pizzas I’ve ever eaten.
They weren’t hot (I can deal with this as they were delivered), had very little toppings & all 4 pizzas were bland and TASTELESS.
It’s obvious that whoever made them was in a hurry & couldn’t have cared less about what they were doing.
I was embarrassed that my friends had to endure these tasteless discs of misery.
I will never order from, or go to this restaurant again,
Best to avoid ordering pizza unless you are actually eating there in person so if you receive a dud pizza (or 4 as in my case) you can at least confront them
