Very friendly staff! The gentleman working on Victoria Day Monday morning was super helpful with suggestions on food items for the order. We did take out and the food was still nice and warm on the 18 minute drive home. We ordered the deluxe seafood platter and I highly recommend the spicy version as it was flavourful and not as spicy as the name suggests. We also ordered the giant fish sandwich combo and jalapeno poppers. We did the giant fish as the regular to compare against the spicy flavour. I liked that the sandwich had a food serving of mayo to keep the proportions moist. Highly recommend this place! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Food 4.5/5 Service 5/5 Vibe 3/5 Tried their supreme sampler and the portion is HUGE!! This sampler comes with fried shrimp, fried fish, fried chicken strips, and 2 sides ( i got the fries and steamed broccoli). Everything is made after order, so PIPPING HOT which i love. I think the fried chicken and fish was 5/5, crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. The shrimp was slightly overfried so a bit dry the only recommendation i have will be for the brocolli, i love the idea of steam brocoolli but the ones i had was mushy, so i can tell they have been in the steamer for awhile. Overall 4/5! Will come back foe their jalapeño bites (cheesey inside) and fried chicken strips. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

What a very pleasant dining experience from the look and feel of the establishment to the welcoming attitude of Esau, our server. The food taste fresh and well seasoned, portion and service, and price, excellent. This was brunch with my daughter and our mutual friend. We all love many types of seafood done in a variety of styles and Captain D's did not disappoint. Esau, took his time to explain each dish we ordered and they were all as he said, delicious! We will most be going back and will also tell all our seafood lovers to go experience Captain D's for themselves. Well done! The diner was spanking clean and spaciously laid out for comfortable seating. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
