9.5/10 only because the dipping options weren’t the best BUT everything else was so good!! First time trying and I will be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was on a road trip and got hungry. I was so sick of the same fast food and I saw Captain D's on the exit ramp menu I decided I wanted to make the stop. They have a drive thru but I wanted to go inside since there were ample parking spaces. Inside the restaurant was ao clean. Not a spot on the floors, the counters were clean, the dining area was also clean. I was greeted immediately which I really liked. This is a fish and seafood restaurant so there were all kinds of combo meals to choose from. From fish and chicken with 2 sides, fish prepared blackened, battered, and fried. Hush puppies are pretty big with a crispy outer crust with a fluffy inside seaa I need just right. I knew the gumbo was going to be good when I saw the color of that rue. Nice and dark with shrimp, okra, and rice. The stuffed crabs were delicious too. Nice portion for the price. I also got a side of fries and fresh steamed broccoli cooked perfectly. All in all I absolutely loved this place! The food was a great choice other then the same old burgers and nuggets. Everything I had was well seasoned, good portions and the customer service was great! I wish I had a Captain D's closer to me as I definitely want to go back for more.
