I ended up trying everything, eating basically nothing, and grabbing food somewhere else on the way home. Grilled fish was hard (not crispy, hard and chewy). Fried pickles were dripping in oil and soaked through multiple paper towels. The rice was dry and cold. I got mostly stems in the fried okra. There were flies in the lemon container and they filled it back up instead of cleaning it out and then refilling. The girl at the counter was nice & professional. The employees in the back were loudly yelling & dropping (or throwing?) things this was like, excessive and almost concerning (the banging noises). A vape was on the counter. The tables had crumbs and old sauce packets on them. The booths were greasy. Altogether not great & would not recommend if you value food safety, but the employees were nice and probably doing their best. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

I have eaten at this Captain D's several times. I can honestly say that I've had some bad experiences but since Jonathan Alderman has been there cooking my food has always been hot, cook very well, and a good portion. Hopefully everything will now be ok. Vegetarian options: Broccoli was very good Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
