The store owner, Anthony, seems like a decent person. However, he continues to allow certain staff members, particularly the young Black woman who appears to be the shift leader or manager, to repeatedly disrespect customers without any apparent consequences. From what it appears, her mother is her supervisor, so complaints about her behavior seem to get swept under the rug instead of being addressed. That creates an unprofessional environment and sends the message that disrespect toward customers is acceptable. She is consistently rude, dismissive, and lacks the level of customer service that patrons deserve. I strongly recommend that she receive additional training on professionalism and customer service. If she is unwilling to treat customers with respect, then she should not be in a customer facing management position. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I visited Captain D's last night in Overland, and the service and food were excellent. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I ordered the classic fish and fries, and the fish had a perfect crisp, the fries were hot and fresh, and the portion size was generous. The young manager Tamia was awesome; she called me "queen," lol, and she acknowledged every customer and cheered on other staff. Overall, I had a great experience at Captain D's and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and tasty seafood meal. I'll be back! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
