The staff are exceptionally friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. The subs and salads are always fresh and served exactly how you would make them at home. High quality with a generous serving size! You can't go wrong with Chubby Subs! I recently visited Chubby's Sub on the morning side of Scarborough and had an excellent experience from start to finish. This is hands-down one of the freshest and biggest subs I've had in a long time. The Sub:. The sandwich itself is impressive, generously portioned with quality and fresh ingredients that you can tell are made to order. The bread is perfectly balanced, and everything is stacked with care. It's clear they don't skimp on the fillings here. Whether you're looking for a hearty meal or just want to grab something satisfying, the quality really shows. Customer Service:. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure I had a great experience. They work efficiently without rushing you, and you can tell they take pride in what they're doing. Atmosphere:. The restaurant has a fun, themed decor with movie memorabilia, comic book art (loving the Batman aesthetic!), and a creative blue and red color scheme. It's a comfortable spot to eat in or grab takeout, with plenty of seating. Overall:. Everyone was talking about the classic sub sandwiches and we had to go eeeat them today! I ordered a turkey and bacon sub and watched them create a mountain of bacon before topping it with turkey slices and classic sub toppings (call me old school - because I am - but I love lettuce, tomatoes, and onion). Which sub sando would you order? Since 1973 Chubby's Subs has been serving *loaded* submarine sandwiches starting off by the airport and moving to Scarborough in 2014 at Morningside and Sheppard. This place is a local favorite and at a great price! You will find quite a few seats inside and friendly humans which we love.
