I stopped by Carl's Jr. and ordered the Western Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of fried zucchini. The Western Bacon Cheeseburger is still the best burgersl on the menu, loaded with a charbroiled beef patty, crispy bacon, onion rings, melted cheese, and tangy BBQ sauce on a perfect bun. The combination of smoky, sweet, and savory flavors makes every bite satisfying. The fried zucchini was hot, crispy, and paired perfectly with ranch dressing. It's one of those unique side items that keeps people coming back, and many fans consider it a menu favorite. My biggest complaint is the price. While the food tastes good and portions are decent, the cost of a burger, side, and drink can add up quickly. The quality is there, but the prices make it harder to visit as often as I would like. Overall, the Western Bacon Cheeseburger and fried zucchini are a delicious combination and one of the best meals on the menu. Great flavor and quality, but be prepared to pay more than you would at many other fast-food restaurants. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. I eat here several times a week and aside from the great customer service by the extremely genuinely friendly and attentive staff the food is made with the utmost quality care. I drive to/from Arizona frequently, and I used to stop at the golden arches in Banning and Blythe because they have diet Dr. Pepper. After one too many $14-$15 meals with a microwaved, smashed burger & one lonely pickle chip, and coffee that was usually stale and burnt, I stopped buying these items and just purchased a diet Dr. Pepper on my visits. Driving to Arizona about 3 months ago, I stopped in Banning for a diet Dr. Pepper. I was hungry, but I figured the soda would suffice. Something finally clicked, and I couldn't make myself drive into the golden arches parking lot. Carl's Jr. is on the same street, and that's where I landed. What a fantastic difference! I was happily surprised that Carl's Jr. has diet Dr. Pepper, on that point alone I'm a committed customer. Martin was working at the counter, and he was welcoming and kind. I also ordered a large coffee, which was being made while I waited. My first visit here was a light year improvement over the countless golden arches visits I've made in Banning. I've visited 3 more times during this 3-month period, and I've always been treated with kindness and consideration. The employees make me feel glad that I've stopped in - a wonderful, refreshing interlude in the middle of the long drive. On my last visit I ordered chicken stars and medium fries. My meal was hot, delicious, and satisfying. No microwaves in sight, no smashed buns, no lonely pickle chips - Carl's Jr. food is freshly prepared and tastes good. I think prices are comparable to the golden arches, but the food is far superior and definitely a value for the dollars I spend. Bonus - the coffee is excellent - fresh, and a good strength. The team works quickly, and they pay attention to each other, and to their customers. Someone is aware of every customer who walks through the front door. I've never had to stand there hoping an employee will walk by or glance at the counter to see if any customers are waiting for help. If you're stopping in Banning for a snack or meal, I recommend you visit Carl's Jr. You won't be disappointed. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
