Here in the vast Northern Virginia food scene, Casa De Avila stands out as something truly special. While it may seem like it's just another spot to grab a quick bite, guess again - it's a trip to Mexico without the airfare, offering an authentic meal at a great price. What sets them apart even further is that this is a family-owned local small business, not some faceless multinational conglomerate selling us protein or electrolytes or whatever else an algorithm suggested. Whether you're grabbing the birria quesataco (dunk repeatedly in consommé ), diving into al pastor tacos, or trying something new like lengua or cabeza, you can't go wrong. The trick is to order plenty as the only real mistake is not getting enough tacos and quesadillas. Adding the salsa verde or the kicky salsa roja (warning: hot! ) elevates everything to another level. What's also really cool about Casa De Avila is how they've become a part of the community with their pop-up events. Teaming up with Wheatland Spring Farm + Brewery on weekends, they've created this awesome blend of Mexican flavors that pair perfectly with Wheatland's land beers. It's a great example of how food and drink can bring people together, turning a meal a memorable experience. Stephanie & Abraham and their family are really onto something here, and the best thing we can do is support them and while indulging in the amazing food they prepare for us. This place is a shining star in Loudoun, offering up authentic Mexican food that is made with a lot of love and dedication to tradition. Whether you're looking for a meal to take home or their fun pop-up experience at Wheatland, Casa De Avila absolutely nails it. Found Casa De Avila Tacos on Uber Eats and decided to give them a try. Listen to me...the food is amazing!! I ordered the Birria Quesadilla and my husband got the Steak Quesadilla - both were delicious. The consume is really flavorful as well. My husband and I were very impressed and will return as customers.
