Our visit to Casa Dirce in Asti was an enchanting experience, enriched by a context that was as warm as it was welcoming. Arriving without a reservation on a busy evening, we were politely invited to return in an hour, a request that was handled with extreme precision by the staff. Upon our return, the welcome was enlivened by an aperitif consisting of croutons with whipped butter and sparkling white wine, served in a pleasantly familiar atmosphere. The menu, presented in a handwritten notebook adorned with period illustrations, expressed a nostalgic charm that added a touch of romance to our evening. The selection of tasting starters, despite being of unquestionable quality and impeccable presentation, left us with the feeling that the price was a little high for the quantity offered. The plin ravioli, however, shone with their unforgettable filling which left us with a strong impression of taste and quality. As for the lamb dish, I must admit that it was a little tricky to find the meat on the plate, which slightly overshadowed the excellence of its flavor. Despite this, the situation was handled gracefully by the staff, who showed understanding and professionalism, only charging us for a portion of lamb. To end the evening in style, the restaurant honored us with a double liqueur and a chocolate mousse, gestures of courtesy that sweetly compensated for the previous hitch. The venue itself deserves special praise: with a warm and invitingly furnished ambience, Casa Dirce offers the perfect retreat for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. In summary, Casa Dirce offers a culinary experience that, despite some small hiccups, remains of a high standard thanks to the quality of the dishes and the attentive service. The unique atmosphere and attention to detail make this place worthy of a visit for those seeking a gastronomic experience enriched by a welcoming environment. Optimal. A slightly hidden place, with rooms that allow you to talk without being disturbed or disturbed. Menu 4, quite varied, but gave me the impression that there was no choice for vegetarians (but this may not always be the case). Large variety of wines. Service 5, dishes explained and described; also quick to serve and attentive to timing. Location 4.5, very characteristic interior; quiet and spacious rooms. Anonymous exterior. There is a car park nearby which with a bit of luck will find a space. Quality/price 5, more than honest.
