What a little gem! We found this café while visiting the area after a quick Google Maps search, and we're so glad we did. It's a beautiful place with such a calm, relaxed atmosphere, completely different to your average café. The building itself is stunning, and it's the little touches that make it special, even down to the beautifully scented hand wash in the toilets. We had breakfast, and the sourdough was absolutely delicious. My son asked about the butter as he loved how soaked into the bread it was and the lady explained it was whipped by the kitchen and kindly shared the local brand they use so we could purchase some. There's a car park conveniently located right next door, making it really easy to visit. The lady serving us was so warm and welcoming. She took the time to chat with our two boys (aged 11 and 8), who loved the outdoor area while we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. A truly lovely café with fantastic food, a unique ambience and excellent customer service. We'll definitely return next time we're in the area. Genuinely brilliant, the best food Helston has to offer. Honest, good produce with a fantastically crafted menu, home made cakes and relaxed atmosphere. New owners are lovely, refunded our cake when they noticed we had waited a while which really wasn't necessary but none the less thoughtful and kind :) Will always choose CAST cafe and recommend to everyone visiting Helston.
