I really wish I knew what time my dad and I sat down at Cedar’s, but I unfortunately don’t. We were sat and quickly had our drink and food order taken. We sat there waiting for at least 25 minutes before asking the server if we had been forgotten about because we had watched every single person who got there after us get their food and start eating before we ever received our food. My dad asked the server, to which she (Amy) replied “your food is coming, I promise. We got two new cooks and they’re pretty stupid.” First of all, I find it pretty rude she immediately called the cooks stupid instead of just being understanding and saying she’d check on it. She came back a few minutes later and told us it had only been 12 minutes and that it would be out shortly. I assure you it had not been 12 minutes. Amy may have forgotten to put the order in right away, and maybe it was only 12 minutes since she did, but we were definitely at the restaurant for upwards of 40 minutes, waiting on our food for at least 25-30. After her rude comment about how it had only been 12 minutes, we ultimately decided to leave since we had been waiting around 30 minutes for our food. My dad told her we were leaving to which she said “ok that’s fine” and proceeded to yell at the cooks to forget about our food and that it had “only been 12 minutes”. We could hear her yelling this from the front door, meaning the entire restaurant could too. The whole situation was pretty disrespectful and rude. Amy was not nice once we questioned where our food was, and to call the cooks stupid is just disrespectful. I’m sure she messed up and forgot to put our order in. Just take accountability and apologize instead of being rude to the customer and calling your coworkers stupid. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I'm been coming to cedars restaurant for many years.tried to get the chicken fried steak double mashed said they couldn't do it? Said they didn't have mashed potatoes not till later .....like wtf later no time frame just later .what a joke you're going to serve the chicken fried steak but not the mashed potatoes? Also trash all over the floor where she set me old food under the chair like take so pride in your restraint. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
