Your reservation was made specifically for bar seating and not a table, which is reflected in our reservation system and reservation history. The automated reminder you received used the word “table,” but that is generic language from the reservation platform and does not indicate a specific seating type.When you arrived, you asked if we could move you to a table. Unfortunately, we were fully reserved and weren’t able to accommodate that change. The tables that appeared empty were reserved for guests arriving later that evening. We even reached out to another guest to see if we could make an adjustment on their arrival time, but unfortunately that wasn’t possible.We honored the reservation you made, while also needing to honor the reservations of the guests coming in before/after you. As a very small restaurant with limited seating, we aren’t always able to accommodate seating changes once we’re fully booked.We would never want a guest to feel uncomfortable, and we did everything we could that evening to find an alternative while respecting the reservations on our books. I appreciate your kind words about our team and the food, and I’m glad I was able to share the recipe with you.
