After unusual C & O Canal, have a meal at Chadwicks. Have a nice time here and share good potato skins and good sandwiches with your friends. The pleasant service is always a pleasure. Although you should take into account that Zomato users gave this restaurant a below average rating.

We stopped in Chadwick's on Tuesday night after seeing a show at Gypsy Sally's. I felt like I should have walked out and checked the sign above the door again to see if we were in the right place. It was THUG central! I mean scary! The gangster rap blaring from the speakers was almost deafening. The crowd (and it was really crowded) seemed more like something I'd find in a Southeast DC nightclub. I'd been here before, years ago and it was nothing like this. It used to be an old school pub type place. We figured we'd stay for a drink and ordered three draught IPA's. The bartender, a cute blonde with a tattoo on her forearm, took her time bringing then to us chatting her way back to us. We drank up and left NEVER to return. It's a shame, Chadwick's used to be a chill bar to go to.
