We went here on our trip to Alaska. It was the off season for them so they did not have much help. However the food was fantastic! I can see this being a popular hangout during the winter. The waiter recommended the coconut shrimp and they did not disappoint! If you want a great appetizer, get those! The pizza was very good and the fries in Alaska were always delicious! I don’t know what they do to their fries but we need them in Florida! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This is my first visit to Alaska and the first restaurant I've visited. This place is AWESOME. Great service, Great Atmosphere and employees were Awesome. And the pizza is fresh made from scratch as advertised and is Sooooooooo good. I highly recommend Chair 5. Rory and Beth Downey Ocean Springs, Mississippi Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you're looking for a delicious pizza in Girdwood then you need to eat at Chair 5 Restaurant.Tourists and locals eat here everyday because the food is great, but that also means the wait for a table is a long one. When an employee doesn't show for work the service time goes way up. If you're limited in time please talk to the hostess about the service prior to adding your name to the wait list.The inside of the restaurant is awesome. There are Alaskan animals on the wall with Alaskan memorabilia everywhere. There is a huge painting of the history of Girdwood that is worth reading.If you're over 21 then you can play pool, so save the quarters. There is a small bar with a TV in front that is great for eating something quick.
