Three rounds of honey-butter croissants before the food even landed, and Kentrell kept them coming without being asked. Four of us ate for $62.71: chicken tenders with fries and ranch, a chicken-fried chicken smothered in white gravy, and a hot sandwich stacked with melted cheese. Fries piled on every plate. Nobody left hungry. Everything came out hot at the same time, which matters with kids at the table. The Garland location off President George Bush was quiet at lunch and quick. We’d come back. My family and I have been coming to Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen on North Garland Road and Highway 190 for many years—ever since they first opened. Through all that time, one thing has remained consistent: great food, reasonable prices, and excellent service. We're a big family, so most of our orders are to-go, and this location has always done a fantastic job taking care of us. Back in the early days, there wasn't even a dedicated to-go area. I remember the bartenders handling both the bar and all the to-go orders, and it could get absolutely crazy because this place was always busy. One person who always stood out was Adam. I remember watching him work behind the bar, moving a million miles an hour trying to keep up with the constant demand while still providing great service. It was impressive to watch. Fast forward many years, and Adam is now the store manager. That's a promotion that was clearly well-earned. He's been doing a great job for years, and whenever we pick up an order, he makes sure everything is right. It's always nice to see someone who worked hard, cared about customers, and grew with the business. Cheddar's has become a family tradition for us. The food is consistently good, the prices are affordable, and the staff genuinely cares about providing a great experience. If you're looking for a reliable restaurant with great value and excellent customer service, this location is hard to beat. Keep up the great work, Adam and team! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
