Ugh love this place, crave it weekly!! im a big sauce person and General cheeks signature sauce is delicious, perfect flavor combo for dipping the tenders. Only wish they’d bring back the mac & cheese bites! Food was excellent. I don’t understand the complaining people are giving this place. It’s clean, it’s neat, tv while you wait, and great customer service by Leo. Yes there is a wait. Why? Because everything is fresh and made on the spot. It’s like waiting for an order of Chinese food. If you don’t want to wait, order to go. I had the chicken strips with waffle. Added an extra wing and drum stick. Price is fair considering it’s fresh. Chicken was crunchy and waffle didn’t even need syrup. I got sauces but didn’t even use them until I had drumstick and even that was delicious. Leo was cool dude and talked to you while he worked making it feel more comfortable than awkward silence. After the name changed to Cheekys chicken and waffles. The prices have hiked tremendously. The tenders and waffles use to be 8.99. Under $10 after taxes. Now if you want the same order you have to ask for the jumbo tender and waffles and cost about $15. If not you will get 3 tiny pieces of chicken. I really liked eating here and would order several times a month. Sometimes even placing large lunch orders for my work place. But I can't justify the cost of the meal any more on a $5-6 hike per meal. At least do it gradually next time. Make cheeks chicken great again.
