Waited an hour and a half for a small takeaway order of 2 spice boxes. I asked multiple times while waiting how much longer the order would be and was continually told it’s 10 minutes away. My partner and I kept waiting as we understood it was a busy night but when I’d finally had enough after waiting for over an hour I asked for a refund to which they said they couldn’t provide as they were “already making it”? I believe they only started making our order once I asked to be refunded as about 5 minutes after asking for the refund all of a sudden it was ready. I don’t want the blame to fall on the front of house staff - as I stated they were busy and having a hospo background myself I understand the stress of being slammed. However, I think having customers wait for an hour and 30 minutes for a small order and offering no explanation or compensation other than “so sorry thanks for waiting” is abysmal customer service. My wife and I were so frustrated by the end of the experience we could hardly enjoy the food itself. I’m unsure if this is a regular occurrence for others but this was our very unpleasant experience. Extremely frustrated and disappointed customers. Price per person: $20–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I dined in here earlier today . I ordered the salt and chilli chicken and chips with curry sauce . I was waiting about 35/40 mins . The place was very busy with uber eats orders so I think they just prioritise take away rather than dine in . When I had taken a bite into the “chicken” it did not look or taste like chicken , more like pork . My boyfriend ordered something else but I asked him to order taste it she he confirmed definitely not chicken . I then asked the worker if this was chicken or pork as I had ordered chicken . She said it was chicken . I unfortunately did not think to take a picture of the meat but definitely was not chicken . If you are paying for chicken , that is what to should be receiving. The BEST Irish Chinese that tastes just like home. We’ve tried a few Irish Chinese places all over Perth but no where else has gotten anywhere near as good as Cheeky Chinese. The crispy chilli beef is 11/10 and the chicken balls and salt and pepper chips will cure even the filthiest hangover. Cheers. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40
