5 stars! Absolutely loved this bakery. The pastries tasted exactly like the ones you find in Europe—buttery, fresh, authentic, and not overly sweet. The coffee was incredibly smooth, rich, and flavorful without any bitterness, which is surprisingly hard to find. On top of that, the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chef’s Providence is an absolute gem in Old Town Spring. This is not just a bakery, it’s the kind of place that makes you stand there staring at pastries like you’re choosing enchanted items from a fantasy shop window. Everything looked handcrafted with incredible attention to detail, and somehow tasted even better than it looked. The baked goods were rich, fresh, and beautifully balanced without being overly sweet. You can tell real passion and skill go into every item they create. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with comfortable places to sit and enjoy coffee, desserts, and savory bites without the rushed feel of a typical café. The staff was welcoming, patient, and genuinely excited about what they make. That energy spreads through the whole place. If Michelin gave stars to bake shops and cafés in Old Town Spring, this place would deserve all three without hesitation. Highly recommended for coffee dates, relaxing mornings, dessert runs, or anyone wanting something far beyond ordinary bakery food. I have been here before, and it was wonderful. However, I came here a second time and got a savory pastry - it was the chicken mushroom. When I tell you I literally cried after eating it, I am not kidding. This pastry was savory, buttery, light, and packed with flavor. My goodness, please do not overlook the savory pastries. I also had an eclair that blew my socks off. So cold, creamy, and chocolatey. Please come here. The owners are sweet as pie, and the spot is so quaint and cute.
