We spontaneously popped into The Cherry Tree Inn for breakfast this morning, and what a lovely surprise it turned out to be! Although we didn’t stay overnight (they also have rooms available here), we were really impressed with the place. Everything was fresh, well maintained, and spotlessly tidy, both inside and out. The front garden is a lovely space to relax, with plenty of seating, including a covered area if you prefer a bit of shade or shelter. There’s also plenty of parking on site, which is always a bonus. A special mention goes to Emile (I hope I’ve spelt her name correctly), who looked after us so well. She was warm, friendly, and welcoming, making our visit even more enjoyable.thanks again Breakfast is served from 9:00 am, and ours was excellent. We’ll definitely be returning to try dinner. Another big plus is that they’re open seven days a week and serve food throughout the afternoon and evening. It’s so refreshing to find somewhere open on a Monday, as so many pubs are closed on Mondays these days! A great find and one we’d happily recommend We look forward to coming back! Service: 5

We didn't stay at this pub but had the most amazing lunch outside on their patio in the shade. The service was outstanding and the food very tasty and well presented if a bit pricey. ( I am used to Sheffield prices!). Set in a beautiful village in the middle of woods, almost fairy tale setting. Lovely historical well and cottage up the road and walk through the forest. There was even a little old style funfair on the green. A perfect afternoon to share with friends!

We came here on a Sunday with our 16m old. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely accommodating. Toby (the owner) made sure we were catered for in terms of high chair etc as we chose to sit outside on one of the less sunny days. The outside bar opened and Jay took care of us alongside frequent visits from Toby to make sure we were happy with everything. We ordered the beef burger, stone bass and kids cod goujons. All meals were incredible, especially the adult meals! Highly recommend those if you go! The overall atmosphere and customer service was amazing and matched the beautifully prepared food. Would highly recommend this pub to everyone! Service: 5
