We got to the restaurant at 5:45, when they opened at 5pm. Already out of prime rib, which is what we came for. I ordered the walleye and chicken 1/4. My Partner ordered the ribs and walleye… both meals were tasteless… I never put salt or pepper on food but I tried to give it some flavor but the batter on the chicken and the walleye tasted like flour only and the gravy on the mashed potatoes was BLAH. I’m an ok cook…. But with gravy I always taste it before serving…. No one with tastebuds tasted this. Such a bummer as we were really looking forward to visiting this place. With tip and 2 beers ticket was $80. Do not recommend. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $30–40

Went to Chet's Lakeside Inn with my Dad for dinner. As always, it was delicious & the staff were delightful! The chicken was so perfectly done as usual. The batter was golden, crispy & buttery while the inside was juicy & full of flavor throughout. Ive never had chicken that falls off the bone like it does at Chets. Sadly, I don’t get there as often as I’d like to but that makes it all the more amazing when I do. The atmosphere is always busy and buzzing with conversations from corner to corner. One little hint, make a reservation as they get very busy very quickly. Even at their busiest, the service is the best. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid-friendliness: Chet’s is very kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Chet’s has a 2 door entrance and both doors are VERY narrow. If you have a standard size wheelchair it will be a tight squeeze. Unfortunately, A wider wheelchair will be nearly impossible.
