What has happened to the soups at Chez Cheese?? This was a go-to place for me for soups and sandwiches for over 20 years and while the sandwiches are still decent, the soups are awful! Watery and tasteless or too salty is how I would describe them now. The butternut squash that was always their staple smells awful, is greasy and its color is a brownish orange where it once had a golden color. What a disappointment! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 2

I have been using this store for lunch and for catering for years. I find the negative reviews to be bizarre and uncalled for. The staff has mostly been the same and has always been courteous and through. As any business calling for a catering during lunch hours can be stressful so I always make a point to call after busy times. Their food is presented beautifully and artistically. A gem find in Bergen Co. Love them!! Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Charcuterie Platter, Sandwiches, Fruit Trays, Homemade Chicken Tenders, Cold Cuts Platter
