Went here close to closing time. The food was so salty and old I threw it in trash. They could’ve said they were sold out and told me what was left instead of serving whatever! Called the next day and talked to a new manager named Dee and he told me it was their policy that if you don’t bring the food back that there’s no refund or remake of the order. I expressed that it was in trash and I was not digging it out, so he said it’s nothing he can do. Once I told him I talked to the owner before when I had bad food and he was like he can do that but we can’t. So much for customer service and making things right. Probably won’t be back. Really disappointing experience at Chicken Express tonight. The drive-thru line took almost over half an hour, and there were at least 6+ cars backed up waiting while the employees moved with absolutely no sense of urgency. It wasn’t even late either, it was barely 9 PM and the store doesn’t close until 10, so there really wasn’t an excuse for how slow everything was moving. What made it more frustrating was that an employee repeated my full order back to me correctly before I pulled forward, but somehow multiple sides were still missing when I got home. After already wasting that much time in line, having part of the order missing was ridiculous. I called the store afterward hoping they would fix the issue, but instead I was met with a bad attitude and basically told the order wasn’t missing anything. No apology, no accountability, just denial and rude customer service. Mistakes happen, but the combination of the extremely long wait, lack of urgency, incorrect order, and dismissive attitude made this a terrible experience overall. After spending $40 and almost an hour in the line, im upset i didnt get my money’s worth Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
