I gave this place more than 2 times a chance. The point is not the food doesn't taste authentic.... the oil used to fry the fries and the plantains must be weeks old ...the green sauce is acidic with spilled taste. I emphasize the part using old oil is poisoning and your tongue will keep tingling from the old oil taste on food like you had chemicals ..... it is so Wrong. People trust and you will end up poisoning us and our kids. Price per person: $40–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very disappointing and frustrating experience at Chicken Rico. I’ve been coming here for about 4 years, which makes this even more disappointing — but after this, I will not be coming back ever again. I asked if they could prepare 5 chicken thighs, and the staff told me to come back in 30 minutes. After waiting nearby and returning, we were told to wait again, and then the order was changed to 4 thighs and 1 breast. I agreed just to move things along. When we got home (only 5 minutes away), the chicken was clearly not fresh. It was dry, overcooked, and tasted like it had been reheated. The food was honestly nasty and nothing like fresh charcoal chicken we’ve had from here before. What made it worse was the attitude. The staff member was unfriendly from the start, giving bad looks and acting like he didn’t care about helping us at all. If someone clearly dislikes dealing with customers that much, they shouldn’t be in a customer-facing role. On top of that, we spent almost $47 on this order, which makes the whole experience even worse for the quality we received. Waiting nearly 40 minutes just to receive reheated, nasty food is completely unacceptable. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend others avoid this place — people deserve to know about experiences like this. Food: 1 Service: 1

The service was too bad and they charge me extra even when the price is totally different at the wall. Also, they gave the restriction to buy only 3 Inka kola and not the 6. Finally, they only gave me 10 plates instead 12 because they can't... I've never return to this place. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–60 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
