Although the served food was tasty and appeared fresh, this is NOT the place for anyone with special dietary needs. They have no gluten free bread or dessert options. Also when I told the order taker I was gluten free he suggested I get the wheat bread! I said not unless you want to call 911! Staff need to be better trained. Won’t go again. Couldn’t eat half the meal I paid for because it all contained gluten. I enjoy this food so much. The classic Carol, Fancy Nancy and Jalapeño Holly are so good, can’t wait to try others. The potato soup was described as “one of the best I’ve had!”. The fruit this time was quite mushy but that isn’t typical, the mac and cheese is alright. I would highly recommend giving it a try, it’s such a bonus when you feel good after eating a meal, it’s not heavy and is always something the family looks forward to now. This was my first time at Chicken Salad Chick, and everyone had raved about this place. The atmosphere was great, as was the service. The issue I had was with the food. I ordered the Classic Carol, the Jalapeño Holly, and the grape salad from the back of house. I also purchased chicken salads specifically the $7 ones from the case right in front as you walk up to the counter. My diet yesterday consisted of about 66.66% Chicken Salad Chick (some for lunch and some for dinner). Since 4 a.m., I have been sick with headaches, muscle weakness, and stomach pain. Im not completely sure if this sickness is related to this restaurant, but it is safe to safe I will not be coming back. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chicken Salad
