Food is expensive! Prices weren’t posted and we should’ve asked in advance, but $24 for a reindeer hotdog that you can get a pack at Fred Meyer for less than $10. And a bowl of soup for $18. I get that they are the only game in town, but these prices are egregious! Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried to buy weed off the cooks but they sold me a cinnamon roll instead and changed my life and my perspective on baked sweet rolls. The cream was Devine, the cinnamon, sublime- i cant rave enough about the stuff in this joint. No pun intended. Also- the chicken saloon sported a 4-legged dog which contrary to the story does not have three legs. So make that of it what you will. So far- Chicken is my favorite place in Alaska. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
