We thought we had a delicious meal, until my husband and I were up ill the whole night after. Ruined the last day of our holiday the next day and took me a full 24 hours to recover. MSG overload. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Having noticed this place often full of people, we made a booking to see what we had been missing. Not the traditional Thai food (even though there's many favourites on the menu). Prompt and cheerful service and meals served incredibly quickly! We enjoyed the food, the service and location! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Deep Fried Ice-Cream, Dumplings

Had a pleasant night at this restaurant. The food was good but have had better and have no complaints about the service, until we went to pay. We had not noticed on the bottom of the menu, No Split Bill. The staff member on the till was very abrupt when one of our party went to pay for her meal, and was told she definitely could not split the bill. This caused a stir amongst the rest of our party with people trying to get the right amount of cash together. Some having to go and find an ATM to get money. At no time when the reservation was made or even when a confirmation to confirm the reservation was a mention made of No Split Bill. Upon entering the premises there was no notice of this requirement. When placing our orders there was no mention of No Split Bill. Unfortunately Chim Thai Cove this spoilt an otherwise lovely evening. You now have eight dissatisfied customers spreading the word. A sign placed at the entry of your establishment would inform your customers and they could then decide if this was acceptable to them. Also if a phone reservation is made customers are made aware of your practice. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
