The fish was reheated from the dsy before i couldnt eat it the chips were ok the brown sauce was awful worst I have had in any chipoy and now becoming the chippy review if you were to give Anstruther 5 star this one doesnt even deserve 1 star to be fair . The guys were swearing in the back of the shop . Now they will say they didnt reheat the fish but they did . I have worked in this field for years . A full review will follow on youtube and on camera very soon. But this is needs to level up if not I would avoid. The chips were ok some older cuts in the there to which means not shown attention to detail advice change the oil as its starting to smell a touch and fresh fish only the steak pie was burned in the display glass and stood there the whole time . Poor person that ordered the steak pie. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

I went there last week for two piece haddock supper. The fish was fine but the chips were all rotten. Black bits on all of them making them inedible. It's amongst the dearest so I would have expected better quality. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

iv been to the chip bank a few times and it's never disappointed, best chips ever, the couple who own it are very friendly and genuinely interested in having a wee gab, 100% going back ????
