Haven't eaten at the Chip inn very much since living in Mayland because we tend to Eat a bit later so it's never open, well now we have FIL living with us we needed to fit the food in between carers visits and in time for last meds so we needed the fish and chips much earlier, so tried this chippy again!! So glad we did, as it was all cooked freshly, fish was a good size and mountains of chips and all hot, which when we collected from our usual place it was a bit cool by the time we got it home from Southminster! Big thumbs up from Bob, the 90 year old FIL, hes not near his usual chippy now, and was a bit sad about that, but thought this was better than his usual place!!! We'll definately be using the Chip Inn again! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

We go to Maylandsea quite regularly on a Sunday. We actually went today for a change. Seeing the Chip-Inn open I thought would get a portion of chips. What absolute perfect chips. Delicious! And the young lady serving was so very pleasant and approachable. Fab Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10
