I usually enjoy Chipotle Mexican Grill, but I’ve had a consistently frustrating experience at the Lemmon Ave location—specifically when one particular employee (an older woman with black hair) is working the line. To be honest, I almost dread going in when she’s there because the protein portions—especially the chicken—are noticeably smaller compared to other employees. I’ve found myself multiple times having to ask for a third scoop just to get a normal portion, which shouldn’t be necessary. And it’s not just me. Today, the customer in front of me even said something about how small his portion was, and I completely agreed. It’s a pattern, not a one-off situation. What really stood out was that instead of dealing with the back-and-forth, I ordered a side cup of chicken—and the portion in the cup was significantly more generous than what was being served on the bowl. That inconsistency is frustrating. At this price point (nearly $20 for a bowl and a drink), customers should be getting fair, consistent portions. Right now, it feels like the rice outweighs the protein way too often at this location. This seems like either a training issue or a tool issue (maybe the serving spoon size), but either way, it needs to be addressed. Consistency is key, and this location is falling short. This chipotle, like almost all chipotles, was great. They had all their usual options and the workers didn’t rush you and were very kind and patient. The flavor is always really good and chipotle is generally very affordable and also nutritious so it’s definitely worth checking out. I typical get the bowl and also, they have a lot of vegetarian options. You can get sofritas along with their veggies which should give you plenty of protein so it’s really accessible to all. Overall, I love the chipotle vibe and the food makes it all so much better. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

Their chicken quesadilla is about half the size of every other chipotle’s chicken quesadilla. This is a picture of the “chicken quesadilla” I paid $10 for today and my PINKY finger for reference. I even came in and showed them to ensure that it was in fact a large quesadilla instead of a small and they laughed, saying it is a large quesadilla. 0 stars Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
