This is my first time here since my stay from 2 years in Houston, I thought to go so many times but I got yesterday , I went with my wife she is missing pani puri and Dahipoori from last 2 years from India. So I took her today but we really disappointed, we ordered Panipuri , Dahipuri, Chole puri and Aloo Bhaji with poori. Pani poori water is not that much expected, Dahipuri and Aloo puri was ok, but Chole is not freshly made because when I am eating I got burnt smell, I think they microwave it, I am waiting for server to tell about my feed back but she is literally busy with her phone and she not even came to us and ask how the food was,the service was blunder. I visited Chowpatty Chat Cafe with my family on a Saturday evening and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food. The restaurant is located in a busy area, but there is plenty of parking space around it. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick and efficient. We ordered a variety of dishes, such as dahi puri, pav bhaji, samosa chaat, paneer tikka masala, and masala dosa. All of them were delicious and authentic, with the right balance of spices and flavors. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The dahi puri was especially good, with crispy puris filled with potatoes, chickpeas, yogurt, and chutneys. The pav bhaji was also very tasty, with soft bread and buttery vegetable curry. The samosa chaat was a satisfying combination of crispy samosas, chickpea gravy, yogurt, and sev. The paneer tikka masala was creamy and rich, with soft cheese cubes and a flavorful tomato-based sauce. The masala dosa was crispy and thin, with a spicy potato filling and coconut chutney. We also tried some of their drinks, such as kala khatta soda, masala tea, and mango lassi. The kala khatta soda was refreshing and tangy, with a hint of black salt. The masala tea was aromatic and soothing, with ginger and cardamom. The mango lassi was thick and sweet, with fresh mango pulp. We had a great time at Chowpatty Chat Cafe and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Indian street food. It is one of the best places for chaat cravings in Houston. The restaurant is clean and modern, the food is fresh and flavorful, and the service is fast and friendly. We will be back soon to try more of their dishes!
