Went for 1st time with the family.. very unique menu (and caters for NZ curries.. just makes me laugh)great service and well presented (did send my aloo tikki back but its supposed to be served cold.. its a type of potato fritter and chick pea)thought it was miles better hot. Food was AMAZING.. finally found an EXCELLENT indian restaurant in New plymouth.. will definately go back. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes available.. my wife is gluten intolerant Kid-friendliness: Caters for children if they do not like indian food Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My wife and I was looking for a special restaurant to celebrate the goodness of Life. Cinnamon Kitchen Indian restaurant was packed inside which is usually an indication to me that the food is good and people love to go there. We ordered a strong goat curry and a mild butter chichen. Both these dishes were so delicious and reminded me of my grandson requesting "more" ice cream after every bite. To compliment the dishes, the naan bread was also of the perfect texture. If you like Indian cuisine, you will leave this place LOVING it.

We discovered this restaurant when we went for dinner with friends. We found the food very, very tasty so we decided to do takeaways for a Friday nite meal. Yummm! The food was delish and they did great little customer service things like adding complimentary poppodoms, taking me thru the menu to get the dish that I really wanted but couldn't remember the name of, and rushing the order - just because
This is our new go to for Indian food. It's delish, it's fast and they have great customer service.
